第八屆視覺效果工會獎入圍名單公佈

視覺效果工會於美西時間十八日公佈第八屆的提名名單。《阿凡達》入圍特效影片最佳視覺效果等十一項大獎，其中還有不少獎項被提名超過兩個名額，形成自我對打的局面。

特效影片最佳視覺效果入圍的有《２０１２》、《阿凡達》、《第九禁區》、《星際爭霸戰》與《變形金剛：復仇之戰》。這五影片同時也入圍本屆奧斯卡金像獎「最佳視覺效果」的複選。奧斯卡最終的入圍名單，很有可能就是這五部影片。

另外《阿凡達》的導演詹姆士卡麥隆也獲頒今年視覺效果工會的終身成就獎
